The Pilz PNOZ sigma series contact expansion module has 4 safety contacts which are Normally Open (NO) and 1 auxiliary contact, Normally Closed (NC). This capable contact expansion module expands an existing circuit. As the output relays are monitored via the base units feedback loop, the safety function in the circuit is transferred to the contact expansion module. The safety function remains effective in case of component failure. Featuring a 24VDC supply voltage, 5 outputs and a power rating of 2W.
