Featuring integrated evaluation electronics, this Block Housing Safety Switch features 2 safety outputs, LED status indications, M12 -8 pin connection plug and Unicode teach-in. Unicode teach-in means that the switch will only detect actuators that have been coded in to the device, and only the last actuator coded-in is detectable. For more complex system safety monitoring up to 20 of these block housing safety switches can be connected in series.

The approach direction of this Safety Switch Block can be adjusted in 90-degree steps, and the operating distance varies depending on which taught-in Euchner CES-A… type actuator is used in conjunction with the switch during operation.The front face of this Safety Switch Block Sensor is the only active face which needs to be considered during installation of the unit and associated actuator. Suitable for a wide range of access safety applications, including the monitoring of access door, panels, safety gates and other location monitoring mechanisms.
