Safety Relay, Forcibly Guided Contacts, 3NO, 1NC

This HDZ 43468 safety relay, with forcibly guided contacts, is utilised wherever devices and personnel are to be protected against potentially hazardous equipment and processes.  A safety relay monitors for potential errors or faults in machinery or plants and works to prevent injury and reduce risk. If an error occurs, the safety relay initiates a response to reduce risk and make the environment safe.

The operating principle of a safety relay is that after an installation has been shut down, it cannot be easily restarted, preventing a potentially hazardous situation for people and machines. Suitable for a range of applications including safety switchgear, lifts and escalators, light barriers, machinery - plant engineering and rail. Safety relays can also be used as an emergency stop mechanism, switching off the power to machinery until it is safe to resume power and continue.
