Intrinsically Safe Smart Transmitter Power Supply
This Pepperl + Fuchs isolation barrier is suitable for intrinsically safe applications suppling 2-wire SMART transmitters in a hazardous area. This Intrinsically safe isolation barrier transfers an analogue input signal to a safe area as an isolated current value.
Digital signals may be superimposed on the input signal in the hazardous area or safe area and are transferred bi-directionally. Test sockets for the connection of HART communications are integrated into the terminals of this intrinsically safe transmitter, supports HART, BRAIN and Foxboro SMART protocols.
