The LBFS A3311.0 CleverLevel Sensor, has been designed for level detection in processing tanks and containers and for empty pipe monitoring to prevent dry-run damage of pump systems. Fitted with a G 1A process fitting to allow easy installation or retrofitting into your process application.

Whether your manufacturing process includes products that are powders, liquids, are paste-like, granulated, foamy or sticky and viscous in nature the CleverLevel is the only maintenance-free sensor available that can cater for the detection of all product types.

The Technology

The CleverLevel utilises a frequency sweep technology which uses the medium and the sensor circuitry to create a capacitor with the medium determining the capacity value. A resonant circuit occurs together with a coil in the sensor electronics, and depending on the measured frequency and thresholds a switching signal can be triggered.

Configuration

The LBFS A3311.0 CleverLevel Sensor in its default configuration covers the majority of the potential applications you may encounter. However, where specific configuration is required because of a particularly difficult media that perhaps contains foam and liquid together, the FlexProgrammer 9701 tool (available separately) together with a PC, allows for easy parameterisation of the optimum switching points via a teach-in functionality.
