Ex-Amplifier with Relay Output

For Ex measurement probes, the SZAb series of Ex amplifiers with relay output are ideal. These sensor amplifier relays have an intrinsically safe circuit where the measurement probe is connected, this safe circuit is galvanically isolated from the mains and the relay output. These amplifiers feature cable break and short circuit monitoring, with turn off delay making them suitable for flow rate monitoring in cooling systems, as well as easy programming and installation.

These amplifiers are designed for fitting onto standard DIN rails, featuring LED indicators that provide visual indication of flow rates and simplify set up. The red LED indicates the flow relay is not activated. A yellow LED indicates flow has exceeded the set threshold value and the flow relay is activated. Four green LEDs indicate flow has exceeded the set threshold value and the flow relay is activated.

Reliable, these amplifiers are characterised by short response times and robust display values, even if the medium is subject to large temperature fluctuations such as those found in welding applications and in the automotive industry. The Ex amplifiers SZAb series must be set up outside of the hazardous area. Designed to meet the basic health and safety requirements of Directive 2014/30/EC.
