Photoelectric Proximity Sensor with Background Suppression

The SICK WTB4-3P2161 Photoelectric Sensor utilises a visible red light source, monitoring that beam in order to trigger a process response should the beam be interrupted by an object. This capable sensor features a teach-in button, IO-Link, potentiometer sensitivity adjustment, robust ABS body, PNP output, visible pinpoint red LED technology and a status LED. The precise background suppression built-in to this sensor helps reduce false readings caused by stray background reflections thanks to a 2nd sender LED and is immune to ambient light.
