Electronic Injection Motor Control Brake for Roller Table Drives, Centrifuges, Grinders

The KIMO LEKTROMIK 15B4 is a 15 kW electronic brake module designed for the smooth braking of 3 phase induction motors and the principle of DC injection in the stator windings. A DC current obtained by rectifying the supply voltage produces a stationary magnetic field in the motor which retards the rotor.

The LEKTROMIX 15B4 is a capable electronic braking system which helps reduce maintenance costs, with no mechanical mechanisms inside and providing the fast stopping of damaged equipment should an issue occur. Undesirable oscillations can be reduced, vibrator motors can be stopped quickly, and safety is improved with this fast electronic braking system.

Optimise braking performance in comparison with conventional single-phase braking equipment providing a braking torque that is higher for the same braking current. Applications include the braking of machines with long run-down times, roller table drives, circular saws and planers, centrifuges, grinders, vibrator motors, roller and ball mills.
