The compact and versatile inverter with optimum functionality to address the requirements of different applications, for example conveyor belts, mixers, pumps, fans and compressors. Additional external components are not required as a result of the already integrated, certified Safe Torque Off (STO) safety function, STO via terminal with PROFIsafe. Operation/commissioning is simple and quick using a PC via USB or using a Basic Operator Panel, respectively an Intelligent Operator Panel. The drives can be networked via standard fieldbus systems (PROFINET, PROFIBUS), and there is a card slot to clone parameter sets for intuitive series commissioning. To increase the energy efficiency, the inverter is equipped with a precise SLVC vector control to optimize energy usage. It also has an automatic flux reduction function. SINAMICS G120C covers the three-phase voltage range from 3AC 380 V up to 480 V and is available in four frame sizes in a power range extending from 0.55 kW up to 18.5 kW. SINAMICS G120C can be adapted to address specific user requirements using various options, for example connecting cable, line filter, braking resistors, line reactors and additional accessories. These variable-speed devices are an integral component of Totally Integrated Automation (TIA), and operate optimally with SIMATIC controllers, for example. The SINAMICS G120C allrounder replaces the MICROMASTER MM420 inverter. SINAMICS the unified drive family for every application area.
