The SLX9000 Open Drive is a Micro-processor based adjustable frequency motor drive that has been designed to cater for the demands of today’s industrial and commercial motor drive applications. This capable frequency drive makes the use of advanced semiconductor technology, and its highly modular construction is easy to adapt to a variety of applications. 

This variable frequency drive has an input and output configuration I/O designed with modularity in mind with the I/O compromised of options cards, each with their own input and output configuration. The SLX9000 drive is designed to accept a total of 2 of these cards, and they can contain not only normal analogue and digital inputs but also fieldbus cards. A brake chopper circuit is included as standard.

Mean time between failures is a proven 500k hours, with other features including integrated 3% line reactors, EMI/RFI filters along with a standard NEMA type 12 keypad and high-contrast LCD. The SLX9000 can be flexibly adapted to a variety of needs using the preinstalled all in one application programs, additional I/O and comms cards provide plug and play functionality and are easy to install. Suitable for a wide range of industrial and commercial motor drive applications.
