V18 Laser Retro-reflective Photoelectric Sensor with PNP ouput
The SICK V18 Retro-reflective Photoelectric sensor utilises a laser light source, monitoring that beam in order to trigger a process response should the beam be interrupted by an object. The VL18L-4P324 features a dual lens, an M18 threaded nickel plated brass body, PNP output and is constructed from robust nickel plated brass. Retro-reflective sensors incorporate a separate reflector to monitor detector beam interruption.
Common applications for photoelectric sensor include the automotive industry, controlling the transport of components and engine sub-assemblies, production processes, safety systems and material handling systems for easier transporting of goods. Easy to install, the V18's visible light spot aids in rapid installation and being a class 1 laser product no enhanced safety measures are needed. The fast reaction time of this Photoelectric Sensor ensures reliable object detection at high processing line speeds increasing throughput and helping to reduce overheads.
