Photoelectric Proximity Sensor with Background Suppression

The SICK WT18-3P430 Photoelectric Sensor utilises a visible red light source, monitoring that beam in order to trigger a process response should the beam be interrupted by an object. This capable sensor features potentiometer sensitivity adjustment, robust ABS body, PNP output, visible red light beam and status LED. The precise background suppression built-in to this sensor helps reduce false readings caused by stray background reflections thanks to a 2nd sender LED, immune to ambient light.

Common applications for photoelectric sensor includes, production processes, safety systems and material handling systems and other industrial applications. Easy to install, the visible red light and the potentiometer allows for rapid set-up and installation.
