The VEGABAR 82 pressure transmitter can be used universally for the measurement of gases, vapours and liquids. Even materials such as sand can measured thanks to the abrasion-resistant ceramic cell. Designed for use in all industries.

The pressure transmitter measuring cell transforms the pressure into an electrical signal. This signal is converted by the integrated electronics into a standardised output signal. The sensor element has excellent long-term stability and high overload resistance and is also equipped with a temperature sensor. The temperature value can be displayed via the indicating and adjustment module or processed via the output signal.

Resistant to thermal shock, this versatile instrument handles temperatures up to 150° C, covering 80% of all applications in the process industry. With low maintenance costs thanks to wear-free ceramic measuring cell, with measurement down to the last drop with high accuracy.

Suitable for the monitoring of feed pressure in sewage pipelines, overload-resistant level and gauge pressure measurement in pressurised batch vessels. The monitoring of negative pressure in distillation columns and the level measurement of paper pulp level in bleaching towers. Other applications include level measurement and point level detection in drinking water tanks, milk products and many more. Can be combined with any other sensor of the VEGABAR Series 80 for electronic differential pressure measurement.
