Linear Current Sensor, 125 A, Sink or Source Output

This CSLA Series inductive analogue current sensor features a 125 A sensed current, with sink or source output and a voltage rating of 6 – 12 V. This durable PCB mount current sensor has been designed to monitor AC or DC current and has a maximum supply current of 20 mA. Current sensors use a hall effect loop to monitor the current level passing through an electrical circuit. Applications for current sensors include power metering, control system diagnosis, current supply measurement, and the charge integration and condition monitoring of rechargeable batteries.

CSLA Series inductive analogue current sensors incorporate SS490 Series linear Hall-effect sensor IC. The sensing element is assembled in a printed circuit board mountable housing with 3 pins on the base of the current sensor body. The combination of the sensor, flux collector, and housing comprises the holder assembly. This sensor is ratiometric.
