This 200 Amp, size 1, square body high-speed low-voltage blade mount fuse is designed to open rapidly. Part of the Eaton Bussmann 170M series, this fuse is the ideal solution for high-power applications which require a compact design that offers superior performance.

This versatile fuse also features a visual indicator, and the fuse contact surfaces are electroplated with layer of tin that provides an excellent electrical and thermal interface.

What does a Square Body Fuse Do?

A high-speed square body fuse contains a sacrificial link that melts extremely quickly when excessive current passes through it isolating the overloaded or possibly faulty circuit, protecting valuable electrical equipment, and improving system safety. Square body fuses have a high cycle rate and are designed to minimise peak current let through and arc voltage, a fast-melting time ensures a rapid opening time. Square body fuses typically have a higher operating temperature than other fuses and once blown are not resettable and must be replaced.
