A dependable 3 pole, 630 Amp, moulded case circuit breaker (MCCB), forming part of the SACE Tmax series, featuring a short circuit breaking capacity of 36 kA at 415 VAC and an impulse withstand voltage rating of 8 kV. Dependable, this compact MCCB design has exceptional performance in terms of breaking capacity and limitation of the specific let-through energy, ideal for motor protection applications.

The electric arc interruption system used within this MCCB allows short-circuit currents of very high value to be interrupted quickly. The circuit-breaker operating mechanism is free release regardless of the pressure on the lever and the speed of the operation.  Circuit protection tripping automatically opens the moving contacts, resetting is via pushing the operating lever from the intermediate position into the lowest open position.

Tmax circuit breakers can be installed in the switchboards, panel boards and control panels, mounted in any horizontal, vertical or lying down position on the back plate or on rails, without undergoing any derating of their rated characteristics.
