Digital output module, 2x8 Outputs

This Digital output module has 2 groups of 8 channels for a total of 16 digital outputs. The output voltage range is 10 to 30 VDC and the maximum continuous output current is 0.5 Amps.

This module’s outputs are protected against short circuits, over voltage and over temperature. These outputs are divided into 2 isolated groups with 8 output channels and one voltage supervision input in each group.  Each output channel consists of a short circuit and over temperature protected high side driver, EMC protection components, inductive load suppression, output LED indicators and an optical isolation barrier. Used in conjunction with Module Termination Units TU810, TU812, TU814, and TU830.

The process voltage supervision input provides channel error signals if the voltage disappears, this error signal can be read through the ModuleBus. The outputs are current limited and protected against over temperature and if the outputs are overloaded the output current will be limited.
