Electromechanical Solenoid Switch for Safety Guards and Doors

Electromechanical operated solenoid switch, ideal for sliding and hinged safety guards and doors. This safety interlock switch has a high holding force of 3,500N as well as an adjustable ball latch of 400N, ensures problem-free opening of stressed safety guards and safety doors.

This solenoid interlock has been created to help reduce the risk of injury in the workplace. This interlock prevents cuts the power to industrial processes and machinery when operating conditions are not safe. To function correctly, the internal solenoid needs to be energised before a guard can be opened, remaining locked until the equipment has stopped.

The emergency exit button is used where an intervention in an already locked hazardous area is required. This is achieved by pressing the built-in red push button, which is of the pull to reset variety. This device has a supply voltage rating of 24V AC/DC and four contacts, consisting of two NC safety contacts and two NO auxiliary contacts.
